Keane insists Casemiro will not move.

Former Manchester United midfielder Roy Keane doesn’t believe Casemiro will leave the club this summer, despite the transfer window still being open in some leagues.

The Brazilian midfielder came under heavy criticism during Sunday’s 3-0 home defeat to Liverpool, with two first-half goals his own and he was substitute at half-time, amid speculation he could be sold, but Keane believes Casemiro will remain at the club until at least January.

“I think he’ll play again. Where else can he go, unless something happens next week? He’ll be with us until January,” Keane told The Overlap.

“One thing I would say is… obviously we had a tough first half, but he play in the Community Shield and did well, he play well against Fulham.”

“They should have beaten Brighton, Manchester City only have half a first-team squad. I understand that, but I don’t judge a player at that age. We’re talking about 31, 32-year-olds. What happened, I’ve been there and he was unbelievably bad in the first half, everyone was playing fast.”

“Everyone says, ‘Your legs have no strength,’ and you say, ‘Actually, my legs haven’t had strength for 2-3 years!'”

“I wouldn’t write him off, maybe his role in the team if he comes back, plays two or three games or maybe gets a higher position. The first thing we always say is he can’t run all over the pitch. But when you see him going forward he has the ability to pass UFABET and take set-pieces. How many times have you seen him do that?”

“Can Casemiro bring United back to the challenge of City? Of course not. But the deal is done, he will stay at the club.”
