Ranieri signed a contract until mid-2025 as a replacement for Fabio Liverani, who is currently performing poorly in Serie B, where they are just two points ahead of relegation. The 71-year-old Tinkerman was in charge of Cagliani during the 1988-1991 season and led the team from Serie C to play in Calcio Serie A.

Ranieri was out of work for nearly a year after leaving Watford in January 2022 before deciding to take over the job. In which he has been through many teams. And what made him the most famous was leading Leicester City to win the Premier League in the 2015-2016 season.
